Advice to Directors
If you are a director of a company which is being threatened by pressure from trade creditors, Inland Revenue and VAT, you will not know who to turn to for advice.
The Insolvency Act 1986, and Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986, produced extremely complex and onerous duties on all company officials and, in particular, directors. Serious penalties including disqualification, fines and even imprisonment can arise where directors are found guilty of breaching such rules. Personal liability for debts incurred by the company can also apply.
It is therefore of paramount importance that directors are aware of their responsibilities. Redmans Insolvency Services have considerable experience in this field and we can help and advise directors on their personal position.
We are also able to assist by providing directors with advice and support covering their personal situation
It may be that the business of your company is good and sound and you are keen to ensure that your company and its business continue. You may feel that your company and its business could survive if you had a little breathing space from your creditors.
Redmans Insolvency Services’ primary aim is to save and preserve your business, we have extensive experience in corporate recovery and business turnaround.
However if that aim cannot be achieved and an insolvency procedure is imminent, Redmans Insolvency Services will advise you every step of the way.
